Money Plant

Notes: Money Plant will produce long spikes with clusters of small, sweetly scented lilac flowers, on grayish green foliage. The strong stems are multi-branched and are long lasting as a cut flower in both bloom time and vase life. After the outer shell has dropped, the seed pods provide a unique, rice paper thin, round silver dollar that provides interest in any dried flower arrangement.

Instructions: Sow 2 cm deep. Germination is 10 to 15 days.

Sea Holly - Vibrant silver-blue foliage with metallic blue seedpods that sport radiant spiny bracts. Excellent in cut flowers & dried arrangements. Cut before they fully open as these will continue to open in the drying process. Hanging them upside down to dry ensures weaker stems do not flop over. A great conversation piece for a dinner bouquet or garden focal point. Long grown in seaside gardens for its salt tolerance. Deer resistant.   Foxglove Mix - This variety produces spires of white and pink tubular florets with vividly speckled throats. Flowers 1st year from early sowing fall sowing. Plants are hardy biennials. Useful in a wildflower garden as it self-sows easily. Ancients founded the medicinal uses that are still used today in the treatment of heart problems. Hummingbirds love the early and late blooms. Cut flowering stems down to the ground to encourage second spikes.   Crocosmia - Striking red flowers on gracefully arched stems that rise above sword-shaped leaves. An absolute magnet for Hummingbirds. Crocosmia is a drought tolerant, deer resistant, corm forming plant for beds, borders and under roof eaves. Great addition to any cut-flower garden.
