Notes: An old favorite of home gardeners all over. Provides tall airy foliage and loads of cut flowers in white, pink and purple shades as well as bi-colour blooms. Very easy to grow and actually prefers sandy soils. Plant outside 6 mm deep in May and get flowers 8 weeks later right up until first frost. Great plant for a child's garden.


Instructions: Lightly cover. Germination 5 to 10 days.

Calendula - Very easy to grow in even poor soil. Extremely versatile. Also considered a herb. The leaves and petals can be used in salad. This plant will also repel insects when planted in borders of your garden. Babies Breath - Survives well in poor quality soil. Plant these uniform plants in groups for thicker coverage. These masses of single small blooms and lace like foliage are eye poppers for landscapes such as edging a garden path or filling  for a bouquet or container planting. Tip: For use in baskets plant in groups of 3 or 4 for best results. Cosmo - This fabulous flower is an easy to grow mix of pink and white with its petals curled into a tube.  Prefers poor soil conditions and shelter from strong winds.  Cosmos are great for cut flowers for their unique flowers and airy foliage.
