Notes: Fast growing plants with blue green leaves and mounds of bright orange blooms.They thrive in warm, dry conditions and are amazingly frost hardy. Sow seed in early Spring directly to theyour planting location as seedlings dislike being disturbed. Great for a wild flower garden as it self sows. Dead heading prolongs the bloom period.

Sunflower - Astoundingly large seed heads characterize this variety. Truly mammoth flower heads that produce a wealth of  seed. Very easy to grow and actually prefers sandy soils. Plant outside 6 mm deep in May and get flowers 8 weeks later right up until first frost. Great plant for a child's garden.
