Instructions: Direct sow 1 to 2 cm deep when earth can be worked, or start indoors and transplant in early Spring. Germinates in 7 to 10 days.

Radish - Alta Globe - Bright red round with medium to tall tops. Makes a great center row. This heritage radish can be planted to discourage cucumber beetle, squash bug, and stink bug. Radish seed and its greens are also a delicious addition to your salads. Let a few in your patch bloom and then go to seed. You can eat the pods while green and they still have that same great radish taste or you can let the seeds ripen up and add them to your salad as a tasty garnish.   Winter Turnip - The most popular of Winter or Swedish turnips. These cool weather plants have a rich red-purple top on their smooth globe shaped roots and white flesh. Flavour enhances after frost. Excellent in Vegetarian dishes. Sow again in late summer for an autumn crop.   Salad Burnet - A very easy to grow, hardy perennial herb. Grown for its strong cucumber flavour and decorative serrated leaves. EXCELLENT in mixed salads, soups, dressings and casseroles, cream cheeses and herb vinegar. Salad Burnet is drought tolerant and its unique leaves add ornamental value. Young and tender leaves have the best flavour.
